    The Teutonia Fire Insurance Company was founded in Dayton, OH, in 1865, and was in business until 1918.  It was one of the most successful companies ever organized in the city.  Dayton's financial history from 1860 to 1870 saw the organization of more fire insurance companies than any other city in the United States.
    The German National Bank of Allegheny, Pittsburgh, PA printed over million dollars of national currency from the time it opened in 1865 to 1915.  During its life, the bank issued 27 different types and denominations of national currency.
    The stone measures 12" x 10"' x 3.5" and weighs about 40 pounds.
