Early 17th Century Flemish Oak Linen or Book Press. There is one drawer and one storage cupboard that both have original crab-lock hardware and original working keys. The corkscrew shaft is original and made of ebony. The finials on top are replacements to the original. The corkscrew is fully functional. There are very nice, simple hand hewn qualities throughout. Remarkable piece considering it was intended for mechanical use and has survived sine the 1600's. Could be used as a feature statement piece. Available for local pick up or we will assist getting this item to our dock and helping freight company of your choice load to their truck.See photos for details.
