    Description

    This wonderful Cambridge Chantilly Etched Glass Cordial Decanter is 4¾" tall, 2" across the base and 4" from lip to handle
    .
    It holds 12 ounces (355 millilitres) when filled to just below where the spout is attached.
    A
    discontinued pattern that was made between 1939 - 1958.  This piece would have originally had a sterling silver base and a glass ball type stopper, both of which have gone missing.  In overall excellent condition save for a scratch to the spout that can best be seen in photograph 11, and 2 areas of cloudiness in the glass - one on either side of where the spout connects to the body, one such area best seen in photograph 12 highlighted with a flashlight.  There is some residue in the inside bottom of the decanter.
