  • Condition: Great condition for its age with a lot of surface patina and the bail being set slightly more to one side and the bail also has a slight notch spot on each side from being worn a lifetime or more on a necklace. It seems to my eye that this is a pendant which was once gold washed with a little of the residue left on the surface. This is an extremely old specimen.

    Description

    This is a very old silver antique handmade authentic Ethiopian Coptic Christian Cross pendant. This Ethiopian cross pendant measures 2.42 inches long by 2.54 inches wide. Great condition for its age with a lot of surface patina and the bail being set slightly more to one side and the bail also has a slight notch spot on each side from being worn a lifetime or more on a necklace. It seems to my eye that this is a pendant which was once gold washed with a little slight bit of the residue left on the surface which is hard to see. This is an extremely old specimen.
