Antique Emperor Menelik II Silver Coins Medallions Ethiopian Pendants, Ethiopia

This is set of two rare antique Ethiopian silver 1 Birr coins which both picture Emperor Menelik II of Ethiopia on the obverse side and on the reverse side is pictured the crowned Conquering Lion Of Judah these coins where hand made into medallion pendants long ago in Africa and come from Ethiopia. This antique pendant set's largest specimen measures 2 inches long (including the bail) by 1.53 inches wide. One medallion is in excellent condition with very slight wear to the bail and the other coin has wear to both surfaces of the coin and a little wear to the bail. These pieces are hard to find items and are very desirable collectibles which would look great used in jewelry applications or would fit right into any African art collection, coin collection or bead collection.
