    Description

    These rings date from the mid - late 1800's and have been strung on a new twisted leather strap with a hand knotted leather cross. The amulets are made from nickel and brass, one is copper. They are solid cast metal and quite heavy. Many have stamped patterns [see photos] and are all made by hand. They were traditionally worn as hanging pendants. Due to
    over a century of use,
    many of the rings have a single deep groove worn in from rubbing against the strap they hung from [see photos]. These are remarkable collectors items.
    The range from a diameter of 1 1/8" (30mm) to 1 3/4" (44mm) and a thickness of 1/2" (10mm) - 3/4" (20mm)
    The total weight for all twelve pieces is 1lb 6oz or 612g
